Questions & Answers
Where can I buy tickets for BVB home games?
Our tickets can only be obtained in our Online-Ticketshop with us.
Tickets with hotel accommodation and many added values in the package (adrenaline trip) can be found in the besttravel Onlineshop besttravel.
VIP tickets with excellent hospitality can be found in the Hospitality-Onlineshop.
Can I also buy tickets from other providers?
Buying tickets from sales platforms not authorised by BVB (e.g. eBay classifieds, stubhub, viagogo, etc.) is prohibited in accordance with the General Ticket Terms and Conditions (Ticketing Terms & Conditions, in particular § 8.2). Please buy your tickets exclusively via the BVB platforms mentioned above.
Please note that tickets offered on third-party platforms will be blocked by us. So if you buy one there, in the worst case you may not be able to get into the stadium with it!
Is it possible to buy tickets spontaneously on the day of the match directly in front of the stadium?
In the event of a non-sold-out match, the box offices (ticket counter in the BVB FanWelt) on the north side in front of SIGNAL IDUNA PARK usually open 2.5 hours before kick-off.
Please do not participate in the black market! There are always people in front of the stadium who try to sell tickets at short notice. However, we would like to urgently warn you not to buy tickets on the black market. The tickets could be blocked, especially those sold at a higher price.
How do I get tickets for a sold-out game?
For sold-out games, we recommend that you continue to keep an eye on the BVB-Ticketshop . All ticket buyers who are unable to attend due to illness or other reasons have the opportunity to offer their ticket for sale again on the official secondary ticket market. This means that tickets can still be available even after a game has been sold out. The secondary ticket market is seamlessly integrated into the normal ticket shop. When buying, you only notice the difference by the fact that the selling price has changed.
We strongly advise against buying tickets on third platforms outside BVB.

Are there also vouchers for tickets?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer vouchers for tickets. Due to the high demand and the right of first refusal of the club members, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that the desired tickets will be received. Therefore, we have decided not to offer vouchers for tickets.
When does advance ticket sales start?
The pre-sale usually starts about four weeks before the match date. In our News on BVB.de we inform you about the respective dates.
Where can I find the ticket prices?
You can find the ticket prices of the individual categories on our Homepage .
Can I order tickets for groups?
Unfortunately not. We want to give as many supporters as possible the opportunity to come to our beautiful stadium. Due to the fixed contingents (55,500 season tickets, fan clubs, club members, away fans, charitable purposes and much more), not so many tickets go on sale anyway. In order to enable fair distribution, group orders are currently not offered. We ask for your understanding.
How many tickets can I order?
For home games that have been declared as top matches, up to two tickets can be ordered per person. For all other home matches, up to four tickets per person can usually be purchased.
What does top game mean?
Top matches are those matches that generate particularly high demand among fans in sporting or emotional terms. In the Bundesliga, this is currently the game against Bayern Munich. The top match surcharge is currently 20%.
Are there discounts on tickets?
Discounts on tickets are available in certain areas and for the following persons (subject to availability):
- Tickets for Severly Disabled Fans: seats in the front stand (Depending on any entitlements according to the severely disabled person's ID, different prices may apply here - the seat for the accompanying person is not always free of charge.), standing room if available
- Tickets for Visually Impaired Fans: Seats block 5 incl. accompanying person 14,00 €
- Tickets for Hearing Impaired Fans: Block 34 (14,00 €)
- Tickets for Wheelchair Users: incl. one accompanying person + another additional accompanying person (14.00 €): Block 3 and Block 6
- Children under 14 years of age – REWE Family Block at BVB (block 64+65)
- Reduced seat tickets for young people under the age of 18 at a price of €25 can be requested via Category 6 Youth. The maps are located in the upper tier of the north-west and south-east corners. In addition, discounted standing tickets are available for young people under the age of 18 in Block 63 in the North Stand. An entitlement to a discount must be carried on the day of the match and shown to the security service.

Do I need a ticket for my child?
Yes, because electronic access control does not allow anyone to enter the temple who does not have a valid ticket. However, children up to and including 6 years of age can be taken along in regular match for 1 €. At the clearing houses you can get the so-called children's counting cards. Each child must be present in person and show proof of age (ID or birth certificate). A child does not have its own seat, but sits on the lap of the accompanying person. Access to the standing area is therefore not permitted. By the way, the total proceeds of the children's tickets will be donated to a charitable cause after the season.
Children aged 7 and over need a full ticket.
By the way, the clearing houses are located outside the stadium in the North-East, North-West and South-East.
Where is the best place to see the players?
Where you prefer to sit in the stadium certainly depends on your personal taste. They are particularly close to the players in the lower tier on East and West. The coaches' benches are located on the east side of the pitch, from where the players also run in. However, the further down you sit, the less overview you have of the playing field. Therefore many prefer a place higher up, even if you are not so close to the action.
