What stadium tours are offered?

With our BVB stadium tours, you have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. We offer various guided tours outside of match days. With our stadium walk, you even have the opportunity to visit SIGNAL IDUNA PARK independently and without a guide. You can find all information about our different stadium tours on our homepage.

IMPORTANT: In our football stadium, work is not only done on the pitch. Renovation work, matchday preparations, U23 home games in the Rote Erde or press conferences can take place here at any time. Therefore, there may be disruptions to the tour. But be sure: In this case, we have other highlights in store for you and still make your tour an unforgettable experience.

Where can I get tickets for a public stadium tour? 

Tickets for stadium tours are available at FanWelt and Onlineshop.

Can I show the ticket on my mobile phone if I can't print it out?

If you do not have the opportunity to print out the ticket, we will also accept it in exceptional cases if you show us the ticket on your smartphone on site.

What Corona rules must be observed during the stadium tour? 

There are no more restrictions.

How much does a stadium tour cost?

That depends on which tour you book. The stadium walk, for example, costs €9 regularly for adults, reduced €6. All information and prices can be found in our Onlineshop.

Which group of people receives reduced admission to public stadium tours?

The reduced price applies to students, pupils, the unemployed, voluntary military service, pensioners, severely disabled people and young people who have not yet reached the age of 18. The reduced price applies to guests with a severely disabled pass. The accompanying persons for severely disabled persons (GdB 50 or higher) may participate free of charge. 

Can children under 6 years of age participate free of charge?

Children up to and including 5 years old pay €1 to participate in a public stadium tour. This amount will benefit our "leuchte auf" foundation.
The children's ticket can only be purchased on site.

Can tickets for the stadium tour be exchanged? 

Please understand that these tickets are excluded from return and exchange without exception.

What is the stadium walk?

The "Stadium Walk" is not a guided tour, is not barrier-free and takes place on selected days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last admission: 5:30 p.m.). The currently valid distance and hygiene regulations must be taken into account. There is an obligation to wear mouth and nose protection. The maximum dwell time is limited to 60 minutes, but you are free to choose the start and end time in your two-hour time slot. With our flexible ticket, you can take part in the stadium walk at any time between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

To enjoy the walk to the fullest, charge your smartphone and please bring headphones. Scan our QR codes at selected stations and enrich your walk with black and yellow videos.

The videos are available in German, English and sign language.

How big are the tours on a public guided stadium tour? 

For public guided tours, the number of participants is limited to 50 people. For private tours, we can create a suitable tour offer for every group size. Feel free to use our contact form.

Can I buy or bring food on public stadium tours?

On public tours, there is no possibility to consume food (brought along) or to purchase food during the tour. You are welcome to buy food and drinks in the Melitta Café in the FanWelt or at the food truck next to the FanWelt in front of the stadium. For private tours, catering can be booked in advance (when booking the tour). 

Where do the public tours start? 

The stadium tours start from Monday to Sunday in our West Foyer. Access is via the Luftbad car park (Strobelallee 54, 44139 Dortmund). The stadium walk also starts on all days in the West Foyer.

What happens if I'm late on a public guided stadium tour?

In the event of a delay, we ask you to call the West Foyer as soon as possible at the following number: 0231-9020 1684. 

This is not necessary for our "stadium walk".

What is the difference between a public and a private stadium tour?

For a public tour, each guest can purchase a ticket (subject to availability) and join the respective tour. These tours depart on select days. You can find the times in our online shop.

The stadium walk is offered daily - except on home match days - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that there may be exceptions here as well.

Children up to and including 5 years of age pay €1 to participate in a public stadium tour. This amount will benefit our "leuchte auf" foundation. The children's ticket can only be purchased on site.

For the private tours, we will organize a tour for you and your group. You can choose a date (subject to availability) and will be provided with your own guide, who will show you and your friends, relatives, colleagues, classmates, etc. the stadium individually (minimum calculation basis: 15 people). In addition, other additional modules such as a drinks reception at the stadium kiosk or currywurst at the stadium kiosk can be booked. The minimum calculation basis here is also 15 people.

Is it also possible to book a private tour?

Whether with your friends, colleagues or the whole family, with us you will get your personal guide. This will take you to all the important locations in Germany's largest stadium and provide you with concentrated black and yellow expertise, exciting stories and many anecdotes. You also have the option of booking additional extras, such as food and drink. This is how your private stadium tour becomes a personal full-throttle event!

How much does a private stadium tour cost?

For groups of 1 to 15 participants, we charge a flat rate. From 16 people you will be charged per person. You can find the prices in this cost overview.

The package price for a group of up to 15 people includes up to 3 children free of charge. Each additional child must pay a reduced price per person.

We would like to do a stadium tour with our whole class. Is that possible?

For school classes, we offer a 120-minute BVB stadium tour. This unique group experience is offered at a flat rate of only €180 for a group of up to 20 students. This price includes admission for three teachers/accompanying persons. For each additional person, an additional €9 will be charged. The entrance fee for the BORUSSEUM is included in the ticket price of this stadium tour, but due to the renovation of the BORUSSEUM, a visit is currently not possible. The ticket is only valid on the day of the booked tour and within the opening hours. 

Dates: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (outside holiday periods and public holidays). Please note that the teachers/educators and accompanying persons of each group at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK are responsible for their group and bear the duty of supervision. You have to ensure that their instructions are followed by the group members. 

Do we have to be 15 people to book a private tour?

You can also book a private tour with less than 15 people. However, the minimum calculation basis is 15 people.

How does the payment of a private tour work?

Private tours with a very small number of participants (two people) must be paid in advance. Advance payment is also required for the BVB stadium experience and for fans who want to book a tour from abroad. All others will receive an invoice afterwards.

How can I book tickets for an accessible tour? 

You can find the dates for the public, barrier-free tours on our website. Please register for one of the specified dates by e-mail. We need your contact details, a telephone number and the number of people on the planned tour to register. 

Are there offers for deaf people? 

As part of the stadium walk, you will have the opportunity to access all information via QR codes at selected stations. These videos are available in German, English and sign language.

Where can I park? 

Free parking is available at the BVB FanWelt in the Luftbad car park. Buses can also park here on non-match days. However, the underpass under the FanWelt is too low. With the bus you would have to keep to the right and drive through the large gate on "Bolmker Weg".

Can I come to the stadium tour with a stroller/walker? 

The stadium tours are not barrier-free due to the numerous steps. If you want to take part in a tour with a stroller/walker, there are separate barrier-free tours. 

Can I take photos during a stadium tour?

Photos and videos may be taken for private use. 

Can I bring animals into the stadium on a stadium tour?

Animals are not allowed in the stadium. 

Are there vouchers for stadium tours?

Unfortunately, vouchers for stadium tours are currently not available for purchase. 

Is there also a digital stadium tour?

Yes, there is a digital stadium tour. You can watch a half-hour film and get exclusive insights into the most beautiful stadium in the world, the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. 

When can I visit the BORUSSEUM?

The BORUSSEUM has the following opening hours:

  • Monday to Sunday:                      9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  • Every 1st Thursday of the month:     9.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
  • Home match days:                               9.30 a.m. to kick-off
  • Last admission 30 minutes before closing
  • Closed: 24 December, 25 December, 31 December from 2.00 pm

Can I visit the Rote Erde stadium?

No, the Rote Erde Stadium cannot be visited as part of the stadium tours.
