When does membership start?

Membership is possible at any time. Membership begins on the desired entry date.

Do you also pay the full annual fee if you join in June, for example?

No, of course not, the pro rata contribution is always calculated. So if you join in June, you only pay the full annual fee from June to December 31 and then the full annual fee the following year.

What is the difference between the different departments?

The benefits of membership are the same in all departments. Our members can choose a department that suits their interests. In addition, a change of department can be made at any time.

Can a membership be transferred?

Unfortunately, an existing membership cannot be transferred to another person. 

How much does a membership cost?

• Children and young members up to the age of 18: The membership fee is 30 euros/year. In the year of completion of the age of 18, the contribution is adjusted accordingly.
• Adult members aged 18 and over: The membership fee is 62 euros/year. For adults with a severe disability of 50% or more, the membership fee is 30 euros.
• Family membership: For spouses/partners and all children and adolescents up to the age of 18 with the same place of residence. The membership fee is 120 euros/year.
•  "Lifetime member": One-off amount of 1,909 euros. 

From what age can I become a member?

Children can become members of Borussia Dortmund from the day they are born.

Is there a family membership?

Yes, there is a family membership for spouses/partners with the same place of residence as well as all children and young people belonging to the family up to the age of 18. The membership fee is 120 euros/year. 

When and how is the Borussia members' magazine published?

Borussia magazine is  published monthly in digital form.

How can I gift a membership?

For membership, we absolutely need the original signature of the member or a parent or guardian. In order to be able to surprise the future new member with the membership, please use our form for a gift membership and submit the signature.

Is there a guarantee for tickets for members?

Members will be given preferential treatment when tickets are allocated. With currently more than 200,000 members, it is unfortunately not possible to guarantee tickets.

In order to give as many fans as possible the opportunity to support our team live at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, ticket allocation has been limited to a maximum of two to four tickets per member.

How can I order tickets as a member?

Tickets for Bundesliga home matches are currently sold exclusively via the online ticket shop.

Tickets for away matches can also be ordered via our Ticket-Onlineshop . Up to 4 tickets (depending on the opponent and availability) are available.

How can I cancel my membership?

The resignation can be declared at any time with a notice period of 4 weeks to the end of a calendar year. You can notify us of your cancellation either by e-mail (mitglieder@bvb.de) or by post:

Is there a gift for new members?

New members receive a welcome gift and a certificate with their ID.

Will I receive a gift for recruitment?

Unfortunately, there is currently no bonus for referring a new member. 

How can I change my personal information?

You can change your contact details via the BVB-Login itself. 

For the change of name, we need a copy of the corresponding certificate of the name change as proof. 

How can I change my bank details?

You can inform us of a change in bank details or IBAN by phone or post.

How do I apply for a membership of Borussia Dortmund?

A membership of Borussia Dortmund can be conveniently concluded online via our Homepage or filled out as a PDF and sent by e-mail to mitglieder@bvb.de or by post to BV Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund, Strobelallee 50, 44139 Dortmund.
