General Information

Our motto is: Less frills, more adrenaline. In the five modules News, Matches, Holiday, Shops and More, we try to provide you with everything you need to know about BVB. Especially through large pictures and a lot of information on the holiday, fans should have the opportunity to extend the atmosphere of Borussia into their own living rooms. The new live bar always keeps the most important thing on match day in focus: times and results. And you can follow the game live via Netradio and live ticker.

Questions & Answers

Where can I see the squad? 

To access the squad via the app, please go to the match overview and click on a game there. The information about the game will then open. There you will also find a small jersey logo, which you can click on. There you will then be shown the corresponding squad for the selected competition.

Where can I see the results? 

Under "Matches" click on the current matchday. Then you can also see the other Bundesliga games with the current results (goalscorer, squad, table) in the overview.

Where is the table? 

In the "Matches" section, click on a Bundesliga match of your choice and select the list icon in the middle bar. The same works for other competitions.

Where can I find an overview of all games and competitions?

In the navigation under "Matches" you can see all matches of the season in a chronological list. Just scroll down to find out which games are playing next. You can also use the filter function at the bottom right to find specific games from each competition more quickly.

Where can I find the past games?

Just click on "Games" and then scroll up. All games that are in the past are highlighted in grey. 

Where can I find player statistics?

You can find the statistics by clicking on a game of your choice in the "Games" section. Under the jersey icon, you can find all the players and select them to access their stats. 

Where can I find an overview of all matches on a matchday?

In the "Games" section, click on a game of your choice. In the current or upcoming games you can see all games of the matchday listed. For past games, simply click on the icon of the calendar with the time in the middle menu bar.

Where can I find more news?

In the "News" section, you can scroll down further and further. After you have looked through the first 09 news, more 09 news will load. There is currently no search function. The app focuses on the here and now. If you are looking for specific news, you can always find it under www.bvb.de . 

What can I find in the holiday mode on matchday?

Match day is a holiday! That's why our "holiday mode" starts at 09:09 a.m. on every matchday. Here you can follow us throughout the day and receive all relevant information, news, videos and social media posts about the game. You can follow the game live on Netradio or via the live ticker in the holiday stream.

Where can I find the fan merchandise or tickets from the online shop?

Under "Shops" in the main navigation you will find all products that can be bought at BVB and a link to the respective online shops.

Where can I find the Netradio? 

Netradio appears on the far right of the match result in the live bar on every matchday. As soon as the Netradio is available, the button changes from gray to yellow. For start and stop, just tap the icon. For home games, Netradio starts 30 minutes before kick-off, for away games 15 minutes.

Where can I see the U23 results? 

Just click on "Games" and then switch from "1st team" to "U23" at the top.

How can I log in? 

There is no login option in the app itself. If you switch to the ticket shop or the fan shop under "Shops", for example, you can log in there.

How can I turn push notifications on and off? 

The selection of which push messages should reach you can be adjusted under "More" > "Notifications". "News" means all news about BVB, "Holiday" contains all notifications on the day of the match (e.g. Start (holiday mode, line-up, kick-off, half-time, final whistle, goals, special features) and "Alarm at 19:09" is the automatic reminder of the most beautiful time of the day.

Where and how can I submit my feedback?

Your opinion is important to us. What's going great, what's better? Do you have new ideas? Under "More" > "Feedback form" you can give your opinion. We read through every comment and incorporate the ideas into the further development of the app!

How do I change ringtones?

The BVB app accesses the standard sounds of the operating system on almost all devices. You can't change sounds in the app itself. As a rule, this works via the settings of the smartphone itself. 

Where can I change the language?

Under "More" > "Language" you can choose between German and English.

Why should I share my location?

Dortmund is where the heart of football beats. And your phone tells you how far you are from the temple every time you start the app. With the help of your smartphone's location function, the app calculates the distance from you to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. Nothing else. If the app is closed, the location will not be asked either.
