If you want to shop in the city before the stadium gates open or prepare for the game with friends over a drink, there are plenty of options between the main station and SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. We have put together a selection of restaurants, pubs, stalls and kiosks for you. But one thing is certain: the beer tastes best with a view of the most beautiful stadium in the world.

Which restaurants are recommended in the city before the game?

The city centre of Dortmund and the Kreuzviertel, which is very close to the stadium, offer a wide range of options. You can find a very good overview of reviews on Tripadvisor. Simply use the filter function to get the desired results. The map function is also very helpful to find restaurants near the stadium. Unfortunately, this is not available on mobile devices.

Where can I get a beer on the go?

Around the stadium, especially in Lindemannstraße, on Schwimmweg, Strobelallee and Weg Am Westfalenstadion (connection between Krückenweg/Wittekindstraße and Strobelallee) there are many stalls where you can get a "Wegbier".

Where can I find food and drinks in the vicinity of the stadium?

Around the temple you will find various stalls where you can get soft drinks, beer, bratwurst and fries.

In the Rote Erde and at the swimming pool you also have the opportunity to have a snack. 

There is also a café in our FanWelt.

Right next to the temple, in front of the north-east corner, is the Strobels restaurant. On BVB home match days, there are many delicacies from the grill house in the beer garden on the fork - from the Strobels currywurst to the Strobels barrier. You can also find the Matchday-Menu online .

Is it possible to reserve seats anywhere?

Unfortunately, the Strobels restaurant directly at the stadium does not accept reservations on match days. The kiosks and beer gardens around the temple cannot be reserved.

Can I take food and drinks into the stadium?

According to Stadium Regulations , it is forbidden to take food and drinks of any kind.
