Questions & Answers
Is the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK sold out for every game?
Most of the time, yes. Regularly, over 80,000 people come to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, making BVB the club with the highest average attendance in Europe. Under normal conditions, it is certainly difficult to get a ticket for Borussia Dortmund. We would love to invite even more people to our home matches, but the capacity is limited to 81,365 seats. 55,000 tickets are allocated as season tickets, 4,500 seats are VIP season tickets, and up to 8,000 tickets are given to the visiting club.

When are the games scheduled?
As soon as the date and time for a match are set, you can find the details in our match overview. All dates without an asterisk are fixed.
Before each season, the schedules for the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga are initially published by the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) with only the framework dates for the individual matchdays. This indicates which clubs will face each other on which matchday. The exact match dates and kick-off times are then determined individually and successively throughout the season. Typically, a match date is set at least four weeks in advance, sometimes even twelve weeks before the date.
The precise scheduling is determined during the season due to international competitions. To allow internationally active teams the necessary recovery breaks, the scheduling of a matchday is only done once it is clear which club is playing internationally on which date. As a general rule: Before and after international matches, a minimum two-day break must be ensured.
When can I buy tickets for a game?
Typically, ticket sales start about four weeks before the match. In our overview, you can see which matches will be on sale soon. If you would like to receive information about tickets via email, sign up for the ticket newsletter.
Where can I buy tickets for a BVB-game at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK?
Tickets are only available directly from us. You can find all information related to tickets here.
Can I buy tickets even if I am not a club member or season ticket holder?
In principle, our club members have a pre-sale right. Only if tickets are still available after that, they go on general sale. Whether tickets for a match are restricted or freely available can be seen in our overview once the sale date for the match is set.
Can I get autographs by the players on matchday?
On match day, our players unfortunately cannot give autographs. Before kick-off, the players are naturally focused on the upcoming game, and after the match, they often have to attend interviews or doping controls, making it impossible then as well.

What is included in the stadium regulations?
The Stadium Regulations detail the rights and obligations for all visitors to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. They cover the following topics:
- Additional stay and access regulations
- Photos and videos (recordings) of spectators at the event
- Entrance control
- Behavior in the stadium
- Regulations for exercising house rules
- Prohibitions
- Penalties for violations and infringements

Can I take a camera to the match?
Of course, most fans want to take souvenir photos in the temple. Provided that commercial use is not intended, you are allowed to bring cameras, photo cameras, and digital cameras.
Bringing video cameras and camera equipment (e.g., camera cases, tripods, and telephoto lenses) is prohibited.
Cameras, photo cameras, and digital cameras must not be larger than a standard SLR camera with a standard lens.
Commercial use means that you are not allowed to sell the photos under any circumstances or use them to create products for sale. For that, you need prior approval from the event organizer. The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) has exclusive rights to report on Bundesliga matches. The rights for coverage (live reporting before, during, and after the match) have been purchased by various media companies. To maintain exclusivity for these media companies, Bundesliga clubs must take appropriate measures according to the DFL's media guidelines to prevent other professional reporting. Our stewards strictly ensure that no unauthorized professional equipment enters the stadium.

In which sections are the fans seated?
The BVB fan area (known as the "Yellow Wall") is located on the South Stand. In the entire South area (upper and lower South Stand, South-West and South-East corners), entry in opposing team clothing is not allowed.
The guest fans are usually allocated several blocks on the North Stand (8, 60, 61, 70-75) as well as the North-East corner (55-59).
All other blocks on the West, East, and North stands are predominantly filled with black and yellow supporters. However, you may occasionally find additional guest fans in these blocks.
