I am interested in a season ticket at BVB and would like to know how and when I can buy it.

General Information

The most beautiful stadium in the world fits 81,365 spectators. About 55,000 of these seats are permanently allocated to season ticket holders. Borussia Dortmund has stopped the sale of season tickets and set up a waiting list for those interested in season tickets. When season tickets become available again, interested parties will receive an offer to buy a season ticket in the order of the waiting list. In recent years, an average of about 100 season tickets have become available per year. However, there are already more than 50,000 people on the waiting list. Therefore, BVB has stopped entries on the waiting list until further notice. Completely transparent: The probability of getting a season ticket is currently extremely low.

Where can I sign up for the season ticket waiting list? 

The season ticket waiting list is current and closed until further notice. The background is that there are already about 50,000 people on the waiting list and only very few season tickets are cancelled. Since we do not want to raise false expectations among our loyal fans, we are currently unable to allow new registrations. We ask for your understanding. 

Where can I find my entry on the season ticket waiting list?  

After logging in to BVB, please click on "Personal data" in your account, where you will find the tab "Season ticket waiting list" and can view your current seat there. The season ticket waiting list is updated once a year at the beginning of August, after the allocation of new season tickets has been completed.  

Will I also be informed if a ticket becomes available even though I am on the season ticket waiting list with two season tickets?

Yes, if you are at the top of the waiting list, you will receive a reservation letter by post in July, after the end of the notice period for old season tickets, with an enclosed subscription contract. If we have notified all those waiting in the appropriate order and there is only one season ticket left at the end of the reassignment, the person who is next in line will be contacted, even if this person wants two season tickets.

How can I buy a season ticket for away games? 

The application phase for an away season ticket takes place every year at the beginning of the summer break (end of May/beginning of June) and runs for three weeks. During this time, all interested parties can sign up for a list online. The start and end of the application period will be communicated in advance via the BVB website and the social networks of the fan representatives.
