What is the Stadiondeckel?

The BVB Stadiondeckel is Borussia Dortmund's own electronic payment card in classic card format, which is used as a means of payment at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. Away fans can pay with the Stadiondeckel or contactless. The Stadiondeckel can be conveniently topped up at home in the Internet or via BVB-App .

Where can I get a Stadiondeckel?

You can get the Stadiondeckel on the day of the match from our mobile staff in the circulation of SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. You can recognize them by their white backpack flags.

How much does the Stadondeckel cost?

The Stadiondeckel d itself is free of charge and free of deposit. It can be topped up with a desired amount from €5 (up to a maximum of €200). On the BVB-Homepage and in the BVB-App there is the possibility to top up the following amounts: €5, €10, €20 and €50.

How can I top up the Stadiondeckel?

A top-up can be carried out in the following ways: 

• Top-up at our mobile teams in SIGNAL IDUNA PARK (recognisable by the white backpack flags)
• Charging via the BVB-Homepage
• Charging by BVB-App: There you will also find instructions for charging via app. 

In addition to manual recharging, automatic recharging can be activated. A minimum value and a reload amount must be set. The minimum value indicates the limit at which the Stadiondeckel automatically recharges. This ensures that the credit on the Stadiondeckel never falls below the minimum amount. This means that no further manual top-ups have to be made. It is advisable to enter your e-mail address under "Account Settings" so that your Stadiondeckel can be blocked in the event of loss or your PIN can be resent to you. 

You can register the Stadiondeckel online with your Stadiondeckel number and PIN (when registering for the first time, the PIN is the Stadiondeckelnumber).

After a successful initial cash top-up on site, the Stadiondeckel is activated for online top-up. 

Important: If you have topped up the Stadiondeckel online, you must hold the lid up to a card reader at the ticket office in the stadium again so that the credit is credited to the card. Only then can you pay with the new credit. Activating it is quite fast, so you can do it directly in one go when you buy it: order, activate credit, pay.

What do I do with my Stadiondeckel after the end of the game?

A payout is only possible on the day of the match. You can take the Stadiondeckel home with you and of course use it again at the next home game.

From the 60th minute of the game, you can have the balance of the Stadiondeckel paid out at the unloading stations. Please go to our clearing houses, directly at the exits (navigate to Clearing house North-East, North-West, South-East).

There is also the possibility to have the Stadiondeckel paid out from the first minute of the game in the fan shops in the stadium on levels West 2, South 2 and East 2.

I've lost my Stadiondeckel, what now?

If the Stadiondeckel has been registered in your name in advance, we can refund the balance on the card at the time of the blocking. Simply log in to our Homepage and register the Stadiondeckel. Without this registration, it is unfortunately not possible to trace who owns the Stadioneckel and the credit associated with it. Unfortunately, a payout is then not possible. 

Please report the loss of the Stadiondeckel immediately to publikumscatering@bvb.de.  

How long is the Stadiondeckel valid?

The Stadiondeckel is valid for two years and one day from the last transaction. In addition, you have another year to have any remaining credit paid out.

I'm in the stadium and I have a problem with my Stadiondeckel - who can help me?

If you have any questions or problems about the Stadiondeckel, the mobile staff (recognizable by the white backpack flag) will be happy to help. 

How much money is on my Stadiondeckel?

Our mobile staff (recognisable by the white backpack flag) will show you the balance of the Stadiondeckel quickly and easily. In addition, the customer displays of the stationary kiosk checkouts provide information about the current balance. If you have registered your Stadiondeckel on our BVB Homepage or via the BVB-App , you can use the Transactions function to view and print the existing balance as well as transactions that have already been processed.

I have topped up my Stadiondeckel via PayPal, but the credit is not displayed to me.

If the Stadiondeckel was topped up online, the credit must be "picked up" at the stadium. The credit will be automatically credited to your Stadiondeckel t the next time you contact a ticket reader at a stadium kiosk. 

Can I only pay in the stadium with the Stadiondeckel? 

No, you don't necessarily have to get a Stadiondeckel. All fixed kiosks throughout the stadium also accept the following payment methods:

• EC card / Girocard
• Credit card (Mastercard (maestro), VISA, American Express, Diners Club International, JCB, Discover, Quickpass)
• Google Pay
• Apple Pay
• Ali Pay
• Vpay
• Unionpay.

Please note that your bank may pay fees for this, which we cannot know. Please ask your bank if necessary. 

At the mobile stands, on the other hand, you can only pay with the stadium ticket.

Can I also pay in cash?

Only at the mobile beer sellers with backpacks can you pay (exclusively!) with cash.
